Tempting bets at Kimberley

-

There are a few tempting betting possibilities at Flamingo Park today, with the most mouthwatering coming in Race 5 over 1800m in the form of Pampierstad.

This Corrie Lensley-trained Australian-bred four-year-old has placed in four of his five career starts.

He was out of action from December until last month, placing in both his starts back, and will be 100% fit now. He should break the ice this time.

Kings Landing is the right one for Exactas.

Build a bank for the day with Tall Mo in Race 1 over 1000m. The four-year-old, formerly based in the Western Cape where he ran a few fair races, made a promising debut for Kimberley trainer Cliffie Miller last month.

He was backed to favourite and finished second behind Bletchley. He should improve with that experience on this dirt track and has all of Headline,

Machomouse and Flying Edge held by a number of lengths on that run. He rates a Win bet at around R2 and should be bankered to win in same-race exotics.

Recently gelded Cold Front looks the one to beat in Race 2. This Corne Spies-trained threeyear-old won the only time he raced over this track and trip, beating Jet Sailor impressively in July.

Miller-trained Mr McSteamy could provide value in Swingers and Exactas.
