We need to be warned about storms

-

Surely with all the technology available in all walks of life these days, the SA Weather Service is aware of massive storms building up and should forewarn us?

Alerts are of no use to anyone after the fact because by then we have already been battered to pieces. Sue Sanral, the people trying to enforce e-tolls on us, considerably increased the road surfaces on roads and the catchment area for stormwater but forgot to provide sufficient drainage, hence the flooding of highways. What a bunch of charlies. MS

Cliff Buchler, thanks for your walking story of which I am also a member in my old age. By the way, there is something far worse and that’s converted cyclists! Leon B

So the goose-stepping MK veterans are waging war against one another. The “Red Ants” would give the toy soldiers a hiding. Donald

Nathan Cheiman, you are 100% correct about the clowns at Eskom. They don’t know their bums from their elbows. Angelo

UDM leader Bantu Holomisa, are you sure you didn’t mean to say: we have a “rogue elephant” sitting in the Union Buildings? Thabo

Reading your editorial on “Top traffic cop fails, gets 93% pay hike”, is nothing out of the ordinary. In SA it’s not a matter of no-work, no-pay for the big shot officials, it’s no-work, more-pay! Paul J

The former Gauteng health MEC Qedani Mahlangu should be charged for the deaths of the 118 patients she transferred from Life Esidimeni. Max

Mmusi Maimane, you are lowering yourself and the DA to the same level as Tony Ehrenreich and his racist Cosatu mobsters. Frans
