What a terrific and gutsy performance by Tinkler and his players in the Caf Confederation Cup. They look solid, especially away. Congratulations to SuperSport for reaching the final. What a remarkable journey. Ngwayi

Mohamed Salah is enjoying himself at Liverpool. He’s representing Africa well in the EPL. He joined a great team to take his career forward. He does well even when he’s called up for national duty. Tshidi

Chiefs and Pirates have lost the spark in the derby. Both are no longer the super-glamour clubs they used to be back in the day. They are now scrambling for crumbs like other teams in the league. Rachel Molema

Players like Teko Modise and Reneilwe Letsholonyane are a rare breed and cannot be replaced. Watching them play against each other in the MTN 8 final was great. They created many scoring chances for their strikers. Youngsters can learn a lot from these talented playmakers. Lwazi

Bradley Grobler is a prolific striker who has positioned himself well in the game. His father Les will be proud to see his son picking up where he left off. He’s an underrated and hard-working goalpoacher. Rati

The game of two of the big-five on Tuesday was awesome. The problem is Sundowns told themselves they had won the match before it was played. Chiefs’ performance was amazing, the game was tough. Their counter-attacking and dribbling, actually everything was brilliant. I enjoyed it, sorry for your loss, big giants. MMT

Only goals will win you games. The derby had moments of brilliance where supporters were entertained, but then if you don’t score goals you won’t get a result. Thabo Qalinge tried his best but it wasn’t his day. Itumeleng Khune stood his ground between the sticks and that kept Kaizer Chiefs in the game. Godfrey

I still believe the NFD/PSL play-offs are unfair. My suggestion is to have the first two clubs from the NFD win automatic promotion to the PSL while the bottom two from the PSL are relegated to the NFD. Rudolf

I watched the derby with a lot of concern , seeing players not accelerating and shooting. Even if we qualify for 2018 we will be cannon-fodder for other teams. J

Baroka coach likes to say catch us if you can, now Bidvest Wits caught them last Sunday. The “catching” continues! S’nkonkela
