Who exactly runs the ruling party?
I accept that, being in my mid-70s, I am becoming confused.
Nonetheless I would be grateful if somebody could explain to me who, or what, is the decision-making body of the ANC. I have been told the top six do not make decisions, nor does the national working committee and nor does the national executive committee.
Apparently the only decision-making body is the ANC conference, but the members only meet every five years! How then does the ANC make any decisions between conferences? This explains why Cyril can’t remove No One from office!
