YVONNE DE BRUIN: ASTROLOGIST FORECASTS A ROMANCE LATER THIS YEAR

- Kgosi Modisane

I was shocked by the level of accuracy of the information she sent back to me.

February has never been one of my favourite months in the year; growing up as a chubby kid, I would always find myself without a Valentine at the school ball. In fact, at times, I would have to assume the role of cupid and watch as my crush danced cheek-to-cheek with their heart’s desire.

Over the years it seemed the only way I would receive a rose or song dedication was if I paid for it myself, then act surprised around my friends when it turned out to be from a “secret admirer”.

The only time I recall ever being truly happy during the month of February was in 2011. I had just started dating a very well-known somebody, and he had planned a day filled with romantic activities.

However, all this was shortlived. A month later we broke up and I was back where I started.

Having been single for eight years, there is no dating portal, website or event I haven’t tried. All of them have beared forbidden fruits.

So when the opportunity came to have a reading by Yvonne de Bruin, one of the country’s favoured astrology forecasters, who, with over 10 years of experience came highly recommended, I grabbed the opportunity in the hope of finding love and spending the next eight years with a Valentine.

With our interaction taking place through means of a landline telephone, I was shocked by the level of accuracy of the information which she sent back to me through e-mail.

Though it might be only later this year that I finally find love, I am confident and relieved to know that Cupid’s arrow will possibly shoot my way.

Yvonne has always had a curiosity in the intricacies of the human psyche, behaviour and the more mystical aspects of life. She studied and completed an honours degree in psychology in the late ’90s.

After that she did a few short courses in trauma and bereavement counselling and worked with people dealing with cancer and trauma as a result of major life changing experiences.

“My passion has always been to be able to assist people in making their lives better. I also want to help them to see what inspires them and gives them purpose. Sometimes we have a blind spot in life and we don’t know what’s causing the obstacles or challenges that we face. My role is to help them to see through the problem,” says Yvonne.

Aside from astrology and numerology, one of her greatest passions is the tarot and the power that this divinatory tool has to offer. She uses the tarot cards to advise people on various aspects of their life and purpose.

Yvonne runs courses and does talks on the tarot, meditation, stress release, improving relationships, reclaiming your personal power and more.

Kgosi’s Reading :

In relationships you tend to give all that you have, you tend to dive into the water before testing whether it’s too hot or too cold. There are those, however, who first have to be sure of a relationship before giving their all, and if you are keen on a person like that,

However, on some level some recent disappointment has made you feel as though your confidence in yourself has reached an all time low and you are not sure if you want to go back into any relationship right now.

Do not give up and give yourself some time to heal.

There is someone coming into your life later this year or early next year and it may feel to you that this is someone who is totally unlike anyone you were interested in before.

Give this person a chance as they seem to be very emotionally mature and have a deep understanding of people, so it will be someone you can truly relate to. They have also been through their pain and heartache, and it will be you who can help with the healing process. This person will also be working in a field that is close to your heart and I see you doing work together in the long term.
