The ninth edition of the Nissan Easter Festival at Kyalami park will see competitor­s from Zimbabwe, Botswana, Swaziland, Zambia and Namibia challengin­g South Africans in a whole host of discipline­s including showing, equitation, gymkhana, dressage and show jumping.

Show director Heather Mpofu says there’s something for everyone – even if you don’t know your horse sport. The show will culminate in the SA Outdoor Grand Prix set at 2pm on Easter Monday, with 3 000 fans expected to pack the stands and witness showjumper­s tackle the 1.50m high obstacles against the clock.
