The Citizen (Gauteng)

Michaelson’s picks

-

With three consecutive defeats paired with two draws in their last five English Premier League matches, Stoke City stand very little chance of getting anything against Mauricio Pochettino’s highflying Tottenham Hotspur side.

In contrast, Spurs have won all of their last five games and they still remain invincible in the league this year, having not lost a league game in 2018. Spurs are contesting a second-place finish with Manchester United and Liverpool, while Stoke are fighting to save their topflight status.

The odds are heavily stacked against Paul Lambert’s men. Following a 3-1 win at Chelsea last time out, Spurs have now scored 10 goals in the last three away games and I foresee a lot more goals at the Bet365 Stadium today.
