Congratulations to both Black Leopards and Jomo Cosmos for winning play-off berths en-route to the top league. Both teams deserve this. From what I saw we’re going to enjoy this season’s edition of crunch play-offs. Rudi
Congratulations to Chiefs’ development team for clinching the maiden MultiChoice Diski Shield against Sundowns. They won it convincingly and credit must go to Arthur Zwane and players. The kind of football played by these boys is just marvellous. Milton
I foresee Percy Tau making a clean sweep at the PSL awards. He had a splendid season and he deserves all he’ll get. I think Fadlu Davids deserves the coach’s award. GR
It was disgraceful for the PSL to present The Lions of the North with their trophy in the south, when their supporters were not in attendance. Andries Black Leopards are going to be a serious threat in the NFD play-offs. Their combination play and short passes was exciting to watch against Cosmos on Sunday. Puki
Pirates must start the new season with the kind of oomph they displayed in the latter stages of this campaign. The coaches are doing a lovely job and the players’ hunger has been revived. I see them challenging for every trophy on offer next season. Maile
Sundowns are true SA champions because they have a good coach with a big winning mentality. He deserves praises for paving the way for SA’s black coaches. Dinyatse By winning this season’s MultiChoice Diski Shield, the Kaizer Chiefs development squad will hopefully kick-start the senior team’s quest for silverware in the not-too-distant future. Andrew
Robyn Johannes is a true professional who showed his total professionalism even when he signed a pre-contract with Gavin Hunt’s Bidvest Wits. He played his heart out there and also always appeared to be in top form. Fabian
Congratulations to this season’s Uefa Champions League finalists, particularly Liverpool. Nobody ever imagined they could go all the way and reach the final. Juergen Klopp’s team may be the underdogs against defending champions Real Madrid on May 26, but mark my words – through their relentless attacking style of play they can see off any opponents, especially with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino in their ranks.
