Players told to relax

-

A source has told Phakaaathi that SuperSport United’s management are confident they will remain in the Premiership despite their league position ahead of their last game of the season with Baroka FC. According to the source, the players were told to relax and were taken for an outing this past weekend just to get their minds off the game. Matsatsantsa are in 14th place and should they fail to beat Bakgaga, they might find themselves fighting for their lives in the play-offs. “The players need to relax, we need them to be ready for the game at the weekend. It’s good to take some time away from football and concentrate on something else. The players are not being put under pressure because once that happens, it could destroy them. When people do things under pressure they tend to lose focus, so we want to be mentally ready,” said the source.
