The battle for the runner-up spot in the Scottish Premiership continues as Aberdeen host Rangers tonight.

Only one point separates the teams as they go head-to-head at Pittodrie.

Aberdeen, who are second, were held 0-0 at home against Hibernian on Saturday and now only lead Rangers by a point.

Rangers bagged a 1-0 home win against Kilmarnock at the weekend to get closer to their midweek hosts.

The Glasgow giants have done well in away games this season as they have picked up 11 wins and three draws from their 17 games, losing just three times.

They have won all the three previous Premiership meetings against Aberdeen this season.

Overall, Rangers have won five of their last six away matches at Aberdeen, losing the other. They are therefore favourites to beat the Dons.
