Rudolph’s form guide

-

Tomorrow 9.35am Christchurch Crusaders v Hurricanes

The match of the weekend between the two form teams who have compiled the most log points in the competition. What promises to be a fierce battle could go a long way in deciding the Kiwi conference winners.

Prediction: Crusaders by six.

11.45am Melbourne Rebels v Sunwolves

The Sunwolves have been the talk of the town after their last two wins at home, but on the road they face a different challenge from the Rebels who surprised the Brumbies before their bye. Prediction: Rebels by nine.

9.40pm Buenos Aires Jaguares v Sharks

The Jaguares are in a good space looking for a sixth straight win and while the Sharks know what to expect they might not have all the answers to contain the abrasive Pampas men.

Prediction: Jaguares by 13.

Saturday 9.35am Hamilton Chiefs v Waratahs

The Waratahs broke the long Aussie drought against Kiwi opposition last week and are now looking for a first win on New Zeleand soil in three years against a Chiefs side decimated by injuries. Prediction: Waratahs by eight.

11.45am Brisbane Reds v Highlanders

The Reds pushed the Canes really close last week and if they can repeat that performance the Highlanders could suffer a second straight loss to an Aussie side. Prediction: Reds by 10.

3.05pm Loftus Bulls v Brumbies

The Bulls would be pumped after their poor showing in Buenos Aires against a Brumbies side who have now lost eight of their 11 matches. Prediction: Bulls by 14

5.15pm Newlands Stormers v Lions

This venue has never been a happy hunting ground for the Lions, but they are defending a three-year unbeaten record against fellow SA teams and could maybe just continue the trend. Prediction: Lions by 11. Bye: Blues
