Looters must pay up or be jailed

-

This week, the Commission of Inquiry into State Capture started. We applaud the South African Communist Party (SACP) to be the first in raising their voice on this matter.

Hopefully, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, pictured, and his team will do their best to ensure that corrupt activities under the former president Jacob Zuma are uncovered.

Under him, we have suffered a lot economically while his friends and family were busy amassing wealth.

Our state-owned enterprises are at the point of no return as they depend on the very same government to survive. Zuma was among those responsible for this because he sometimes changed his Cabinet like underwear.

It is now time for him to ac- count. He and those who bene- fitted must pay back the money or go to jail. Their behaviour was treasonous and they must pay for their greediness. Tom Mhlanga, Braamfontein
