Building a dynasty

-

A source at Mamelodi Sundowns has revealed the reason why the club is investing in young talent at the moment. Masandawana have added a couple of young players to their squad, which includes the signing of Kaizer Chiefs defender Luke Moses (above) and Bidvest Wits’ Muhammid Carrim. According to the source, coach Pitso Mosimane and his technical team are looking to build a strong reserve team and the players need to be ready and be on top of their game because they can called up for the senior team at any time. “We already have top-quality players in our development structures, but the main objective is to have a strong reserve team because those players are also part of the senior team. The coaches at the senior team have identified players they believe would suit our style, that is why there has been a lot of new players included in the team. I am sure there will be a couple more young talents coming through to join the club,” said the source.
