ANC undermines will of the people

The ANC calling for new elections in the City of Tshwane, with Solly Msimanga, pictured, as mayor, is ridiculous. In 2016, the residents made the decision to vote the ANC out of power and gave the Democratic Alliance and its opposition partners a mandate to form a government.

Indeed, the coalitions are volatile at the moment and stability has to be restored immediately.

However, what the ANC is attempting to do is to delegitimise the will of the people.

When they governed, they failed the people due to continued corruption and poor service delivery. They had their chance and they failed. Maletsatsi Moshoeshoe
