Great welcome for Shabba, but team beaten

Kaizer Chiefs legend Siphiwe Tshabalala (right) was mobbed by fans as he arrived in Turkey last week to begin life as a player for top-flight side Erzurumspor. He was immediately in the squad for the home game against Istanbul Basaksehir and came off the bench in the 74th minute but they ultimately lost 1-0 and slipped to the bottom of the Super Lig table, with just one win in four matches. The international break means Tshabalala now has plenty of time to get adjusted to his new surroundings.
