HUMANS’ BLOODY HANDS
The Humane Society International and the Australian Marine Conservation Society yesterday released this picture of a scalloped hammerhead shark, red-listed as endangered, found dead on a drumline at Radical Bay off Magnetic Island, Queensland, Australia. The environmental bodies wanted to show Queensland’s Shark Control Programme’s deadly impact on marine population in the Great Barrier Reef.
