No Flying Five for Battaash

Battaash, who was vying for favouritism in places with Blue Point for Sunday week's Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes at The Curragh, will not run as connections are keen to freshen him up for the defence of his Qatar Prix de l'Abbaye crown.

Trained by Charlie Hills for Hamdan Al Maktoum, Battaash was second to Blue Point in the King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot before producing a blistering performance to win the King George Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
