Newsreaders must remain neutral

I was disappointed with eNCA, particularly Vuyo Mvoko, this week when discussing the white workers striking at Sasol.

A broadcaster and its presenters must be unbiased at all times. Vuyo might just have well have said that the white workers were getting their medicine now as punishment for apartheid.

Whatever he thinks is irrelevant. He is a news reader and he may well lose eNCA a lot of ratings unless he and, indeed, all presenters stay neutral on any subject. Geoff
