Bishops in DRC appeal to SADC

A delegation from the Conference of Catholic Bishops in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have called on the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to help reduce political tension in the DRC.

The Catholic Bishops, led by Archbishop Fridolin Besungu, noted that the political tension in the DRC was worrying and has raised fear among the general citizenry, including the church, the Lusaka Times reported. – ANA
