Groot Gees Fees will be special

-

Silverstar knows how to celebrate in style and what’s better than a great big celebration during Heritage Month? On Friday, September 14 from 4pm to 10pm and Saturday, September 15 from 11pm to 10pm, Silverstar will host the Groot Gees Fees.

This spectacular Afrikaans lifestyle festival will embrace all three essential elements of Afrikaans lifestyle: food, entertainment and creative living. This trinity will be blended together to produce an entertaining showcase of everything that is local and lekker.

Visitors can look forward to music and dance, with performances by Afrikaans favourites such as Arno Jordaan, Conrad Cronje, Radio Kalahari Orkes and Beeskraal. And the gees (spirit)? That will happen during the Currie Cup Rugby shown on the big screens inside the venue.

Of course there will be traditional boerekos, arts and crafts exhibitions and a play area for the kids.

Just R50 gets you entry into Silverstar’s Groot Gees Fees and we’re throwing in a complimentary beer, wine, cider or soft drink. Children under 10 enter free.
