Buthelezi in frame

Having sold their No 1 goalkeeper King Ndlovu to Black Leopards last month, Jomo Cosmos are set to now rely on 20-year-old Melusi Buthelezi as a contender to keep goal this season. Buthelezi was brought in by the club’s scouts, who discovered him at some amateur tournament in KwaZulu-Natal and he has impressed with is performances so far. “He has done really well since he joined and might soon be the No 1 keeper for the team very soon. With Ndlovu gone, the team are still looking for someone to fill his position - (Mwenya) Chibwe (pictured) has been playing thus far but Melusi is not far off,” said a source.
