Swazi defender joins Cosmos

Jomo Cosmos have signed highly-rated Swazi defender Stanley Umukoro (above) and are just awaiting his papers before he can be registered and start playing. Cosmos owner and coach Jomo Sono spoke highly of the defender last weekend but declined to name him. “Once he gets his papers sorted out he can start playing and he will be a big boost for the club. We will compete this season,” said Sono. Ezenkosi have had to rebuild their team after releasing 15 players who helped them into the play-offs last season. Sono said he is happy with the players he has signed and they prove that he still has a keen eye for raw talent.
