Sibanye’s Lonmin takeover positive

Sibanye-Stillwater said it remains fully committed to a takeover of Lonmin after the Competition Tribunal imposed conditions on the deal.

On Monday, the competition watchdog gave the green light to the all-share transaction, but placed conditions.

Sibanye and Lonmin said they remained fully committed to the deal, expected to close by the end of the year.
