Cheers! Winx gets her own limited-edition beer

– A beer of champions will be the toast of Australia’s Moonee Valley racecourse lthis month with cans of Carlton Draught honouring super mare Winx.

The world’s best racehorse, according to the Longines World Rankings, is bidding for an historic fourth Cox Plate win next month and the limited-edition cans will be in demand across the racecourse – where they will be available from 28 September, and from Victorian bottle shops by

mid-October.

The cans sport the blue Winx silks and a large white W will catch the eye, as well as images of her Cox Plate wins and a jockey riding the Carlton Draught Clydesdale logo.

Winx landed a 27th consecutive success and 20th Group 1 victory at Randwick on Saturday and is a best-priced 4-7 with Paddy Power to secure the Cox Plate four-timer on 27 October.
