Two shark a acks in Australian waters

– A girl, 12, was attacked by a shark off Australia’s tropical northeast coast yesterday, the second attack there in as many days.

Rescuers were called to Cid Harbour and according to ambulance operations manager Tracey Eastwick, the girl is in a serious condition in hospital.

Justine Barwick, 46, was bitten by a shark on Wednesday in the same area. – Reuters
