Claims of vote rigging a blow to Kremlin
– An election in Russia’s Primorsky region is to be rerun, dealing a rare blow to the Kremlin after allegations the vote was rigged in its candidate’s favour.
Ella Pamfilova, head of the Central Election Commission, did not accuse the Kremlin-backed candidate, Andrei Tarasenko, of orchestrating the vote-rigging, but had said irregularities had been identified. – Reuters
