Hart in bid to revive the Blues

– Former All Blacks coach John Hart joined the Blues’ board yesterday in the latest move by New Zealand Rugby (NZR) to turn around the struggling Super Rugby club’s fortunes.

Hart said he was keen to see them recapture former glories after failing to make the playoffs since 2011.

Hart coached New Zealand from 1996-1999, with his tenure ending when the All Blacks were eliminated from the World Cup in a shock semifinal loss to France. –
