Nigeria recovers stolen oil billions

Police in Nigeria have recovered $470.5 million (R6.7 billion) in stolen money related to the state oil company, as part of an exercise to recover stolen funds.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who rules on an anticorrup­tion ticket, ordered state revenues and recovered funds to be placed in a Treasury Single Account at the central bank. – ANA
