No Bafana, but Serero still stars for Vitesse

28-year-old South African midfielder Thulani Serero (right) continues to play regularly for his Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem, making it even more of shame that there appears no chance of him representing his national team again. Serero’s team drew 1-1 at home to ADO Den Haag. They have only lost one Eredivisie match in six this season. Serero has played every minute, but was banned from playing for Bafana in February after he reportedly refused to honour a call-up to two World Cup qualifiers against Senegal last year.
