Cape Town water restrictions eased

Water restrictions and tariffs in Cape Town will be lowered from Level 6 to Level 5 in October because dam levels have improved from 70% to 74% of capacity in the past week.

However, consumption rose from 505 million to 511 million litres per day in the last week and the City of Cape Town urged residents to continue with water-saving efforts going into summer. – ANA
