Garcia leads Europe charge in Paris

From the 24 players involved at this weekend’s Ryder Cup in Paris, Spain’s Sergio Garcia entered the biennial tournament with the most wins – 19 – and the most points 22.5. The Spaniard still has a way to go to catch Nick Faldo, with 23 wins and 25 points but he could do that this weekend.

For the US, Phil Mickelson leads the pack with 18 wins and 21.5 points, although the American has also lost 20 matches.

Overall the US lead 26-13, with two draws.
