Grinch returns in holiday classic

Something exciting is coming this Christmas! The unhappiest character in holiday history is back for the eighth fully animated feature – The Grinch, based on Dr Seuss’ beloved holiday classic.

Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch lends his voice to the infamous Grinch, who lives a solitary life on Mount Crumpet with his loyal dog, Max.

Each year the citizens of Who-ville disrupt his tranquil solitude and when they declare they are going to make Christmas three times bigger this year, Grinch realises the only one way to gain peace and quiet is to steal Christmas. He decides to pose as Santa Claus.

Meanwhile in Who-ville, Cindy-Lou Who – a young girl overflowing with holiday cheer – plots to trap Santa so she can thank him for helping her overworked mother.

Her good-natured scheming threatens to collide with Grinch’s more nefarious one.

Can she achieve her goal or will the Grinch succeed?
