Wilder, Fury to lock horns in LA
– World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will stage his December 1 title defence against Britain’s Tyson Fury at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, it was confirmed on Thursday.
The Los Angeles venue that is best known as the home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers NBA teams, had been widely expected to stage the fight.
The 21 000-capacity arena in downtown Los Angeles has been frequently used as a boxing venue. –
