Mondi attracts attention at his motor city club

Former South African Under-20 midfielder Tyrone Mondi (right) is making waves in the US and aims to play in the Major Soccer League soon. Mondi is studying in America and was given a chance to play for Detroit City FC last year. He scored some crucial goals and was also once voted Most-Valuable-Player (MVP). “He is doing pretty well in the US and a number of teams in the MLS have taken notice of him,” said a source. “I thought he would want to play somewhere rather than the US, but he likes it there and he is also keen on playing in that league.
