Boss hits out as official injured
Glasgow
– Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has said there is no place in football for the kind of incident that saw a linesman struck by a missile thrown from the crowd during Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Livingston.
The Scottish Premiership game was held up for several minutes in the second half to allow treatment to be given to Calum Spence.
“That’s not right. He’s trying to do a job,” said Gerrard. – Reuters
