PROFILE

-

You can count on one hand the number of players from Mozambique that have excelled in the Premier Soccer League, but it’s time to add Cape Town City left-back Edmilson Dove to that list.

Perhaps his greatest attribute is his incredible work-rate that sees him charge up and down the left side of City throughout a match - in this instance for 120 gruelling minutes.

He was a ready supply of crosses and a regular outlet for the team, providing a shooting chance for himself as well with some fancy footwork in the box. His effort, with his less-favoured right-foot, was narrowly kept out by SuperSport keeper Ronwen
