I have to state up front that tonight’s Uefa Champions League Group B tie between Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona is by far the trickiest Soccer6 prediction I’ve done to date.

It is the mighty Barca, who are five time European champions versus Tottenham – a club who have been starved of silverware in recent years. “What’s tricky about that?” you may ask.

Well, Spurs have been improving gradually in the English Premier League, with Harry Kane leading from the front. The England captain is getting back to his best following a brace at Huddersfield on Saturday, which moved Spurs into the top four, four points behinddefending champions Manchester City.

On the flip side, things have not been looking good for the Spaniards. They have gone three La Liga games without a win, drawing two and losing one.

That on its own is enough to convince me to fancy a Spurs win, along with the fact that they are playing at the national stadium.
