Liberty starts retrenching process

Liberty has embarked upon a retrenchment process it says is vital to the delivery of its turnaround strategy.

A spokesperson said the process is part of creating “a new organisational design that enables us to dedicate significant resources and capacity to our South African business...”

Liberty would not confirm how many people will be retrenched. However, according to staff, over 800 people could be impacted by the redesign. – Sasha Planting
