Unbeaten stars take their places at Durbanville

Rainbow Bridge, Lesedi La Rona and One World are all undefeated, and could remain that way when they make their seasonal debuts at Durbanville tomorrow.

Eric Sands’ Rainbow Bridge won the Highland Stud Winter Guineas and Winter Classic in the manner of a top sort before being rested. He lines up in the Grade 3 WSB Matchem, but has a few hurdles to overcome. He has never run at this track, and 1400m may well now be on the sharp side.

Main threat Tap O’ Noth is clearly the class act on exposed form. Last year’s winner Our Mate Art had a good prep run and could surprise, while Fifty Cents deserves maximum respect.

Lesedi La Rona lines up in the fillies equivalent WSB Diana Stakes. She carries a mere 52kg, and doesn’t face any real top class older rivals.
