We all need to learn to say ‘no’

-

Kekeletso Nakeli-Dhliwayo, maybe you see a need to write such a column (October 4), but I really can’t understand your point. Rape is unacceptable. We must all join together and fight this scourge meted onto our society by society itself. No excuse about colour, creed or gender involved, we all say “no”.

Instead of likening the perpetrator in the Dros scandal to white arrogance, I think likening his arrogance to a drugfuelled existence would have been the way to go.

I think that all South African people are sick and tired of this terrible crime that is committed, with the generalisation that it applies mostly to black men.

Not true, rapists are all colours, all categories are raped, all colours, all ages, all genders.

The one thing I do agree with you on is, based only on your gender, it is just a matter of time ...
