Le Roux marked his 50th cap with an outstanding display. His ability to see space and his stepping skills meant his ball-carries hissed with danger throughout, he made some telling tackles and his fielding of the high ball was immaculate. In an attack that at times struggled to find the fluency to break through a tough All Blacks defence, Le Roux’s ability to find space was priceless. His departure for concussion late in the game was a massive blow for the home side.
