As South Africa gather for their home and away African Nations Cup qualifiers against lowly Seychelles over the next week, coach Stuart Baxter has some in-form strikers to select from as the side seek to take a giant step towards the finals in Cameroon next year.

Percy Tau has been in good nick for Belgian side Royale Union St Gilloise, while Dino Ndlovu has been a goal-scoring machine for second-tier Chinese side Hangzhou Greentown.

But perhaps most exciting of all are the goals scored by Lebo Mothiba for his new French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg as he continues his excellent form that helped former club Lille retain their top-flight status at the end of the last season.

Mothiba scored both in a 2-2 draw away at Angers at the weekend, taking his tally to three goals in three starts for Strasbourg, following on from a 2017-18 season in which he netted 16 times for club
