Solving SA’s numerous problems
Let’s get this country moving! How do we solve South Africa’s many problems? Well, let’s start with the major problem of service delivery.
To do this, start by completing a full and extensive service delivery programme in one township.
Let the country see the solution in operation, progressing to finality as a successful enterprise.
The country must also see a follow up of good governance with selected qualified personnel (black, white, coloured or Indian) running the responsible municipality correctly, free of corruption and incompetence.
Now, create a number of service delivery teams that will tackle the other townships suffering the lack of service deliv- ery. This will give positive em- ployment to hundreds of workers which will include training in the skills this country so badly needs.
Where will the money come from? For such a praiseworthy enterprise, sufficient capital will be obtained from charitable organisations, or from willing entrepreneurs, or from the World Bank at a low interest rate. Owen Hughes, Magaliessig
