Big excitement is building for Montecasino’s fifth fabulous and festive Christmas Village, which is on for six days this year, and will feature a host of exhibitors.

There are some new ones and some favourites from years gone by – all in their enchanting traditional wooden stalls festooned with fairy lights, the magnificent central Christmas tree, as well as a wealth of activities, events, and magical Christmas touches.

Put the Christmas Village in your family diary – and be enthralled by the spirit of the season, the wide array of beautiful handcrafted gifts and Christmas treats, the festive food and drink options.

The Montecasino Christmas Village is happening from Wednesday, December 12 to Monday, December 17.

It will be open on Wednesday to Friday from 2pm to 9pm, on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9pm and on Monday from noon to 7pm.

At the Christmas Village, kids’ movies will be shown on the big screen in the Piazza from 6pm on the Wednesday through to Sunday and at 4pm on Monday.

Tickets are available at R20 from Montecasino.

In the spirit of Christmas, R10 will be donated towards Montecasino’s charity of choice and R10 towards the 947 Christmas Wish List. – Citizen reporter
