Women’s T20 sides ranked

– The International Cricket Council yesterday launched a global ICC Women’s T20 Team Rankings as it continues to drive the growth of the game in the shortest format.

ICC Chief Executive David Richardson said: “The new rankings will provide an incentive for teams to play regularly and mark their progress globally.”

Teams have to play six T20 matches in the previous three to four years to stay on the table. – ANA
