Africa Cup of Nations Group A leaders Senegal bid to extend their four-point lead in the group when they host Sudan in Dakar today.

The hosts haven’t been on top of their game recently with the team currently on a three games winless streak having played to a 2-2 draw against Madagascar in their previous game. Though they are on top of the group, the draw with the Islanders left the two nations level on points in the group with the Teranga Lions having a better goal difference.

Senegal undoubtedly have a strong squad with the experienced Sadio Mane leading the attack. Their recent results though have been very poor.

However, they go up against a Sudan side that has not been able to win their previous two games of the qualifiers.

Sudan are likely to put up a fight, but Senegal are eager to get back to winning ways and they will do it here. Pool Name: S6 V2 P1 M1: South Africa v Seychelles.
