Camper killed, wife injured

A man has died and his wife was seriously injured when they were attacked in their tent near a dam in Fochville, Gauteng, where they had been fishing, paramedics said yesterday.

At about 11pm on Saturday night, paramedics found a man, believed to be 68 years old, with multiple fatal injuries. His wife, 60, was found with various injuries and severely traumatised, ER24 said.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known. – ANA
