Two arrested at checkpoint
Police efforts to address gang-related and violent crimes in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town, resulted in the arrest of two Somalian men, aged 28 and 31, for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on Saturday night, Western Cape police said.
The two were stopped at a police checkpoint on the corner of Bonteheuwel Avenue and Seringa Street, when the firearm was discovered in their vehicle. – ANA
