Strained relations not helping Chiefs’ cause

Kaizer Chiefs striker Gustavo Paez set tongues wagging when he refused to shake hands with coach Giovanni Solinas when he was substituted in the Macufe Cup match on Sunday afternoon. The 28-year-old Venezuelan was taken off towards the end of the match and shook hands with Bernard Parker who was replacing him but ignored Solinas’ outstretched hand and went to sit on the bench. Paez has seen little game time since Solinas took over as he has preferred Leonardo Castro and when he got injured he used Paez once but has been using Ryan Moon lately.
