Damane for Benfica?

The KwaZulu-Natal Academy is hoping to secure a deal for young goalkeeper Buhle Damane at Portuguese giants Benfica, a close source has told Phakaaathi. Damane has been on trial with the club for a while, but the club is yet to decide whether to sign him. “It’s more than a week now since he arrived at the club. We are not really sure how long the trial is going to take, but I’m certain they will let us know on the way forward. But the boy is top-class and that’s why they wanted to go there, I’m hopeful that they will sign him. He has all the attributes to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world,” said the source.
